Registered Dental Hygienist (Full-Time) job at NewLeafDental

Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients.
Assess patients’ oral health by reviewing medical records and documenting vital signs.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Utilize aseptic techniques to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Assist in the documentation review process to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate medical records using Dentrix software.
Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to provide comprehensive patient care.
Stay updated on medical terminology and coding practices relevant to dental hygiene.

- Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7 AM - 4 PM; Closed Fridays
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
- Holiday Shifts: No major Holidays

Valid dental hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in general dentistry or dental assisting is preferred.
Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality protocols.
Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding their significance in patient care.
Strong documentation skills with attention to detail in medical records management.
Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus.
Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently during procedures.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient education and comfort.
