（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Jennifer Chiang DDS

We are seeking a skilled and personable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team on a part-time basis every Tuesday. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, values attention to detail, and thrives in a team-oriented environment.

In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive and therapeutic hygiene services while educating patients on the importance of oral-systemic health. You will play a key role in creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient.

Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments
Conduct thorough periodontal assessments and charting
Take digital radiographs as needed
Educate patients on oral hygiene, home care, and overall health connections
Identify areas of concern and communicate findings effectively with the doctor
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization protocols
Contribute to a smooth and efficient patient flow

Qualifications:

Active Registered Dental Hygienist license (California)
Current CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to clinical excellence
Comfortable with digital systems and modern dental technology
Team player with a positive and professional attitude

- Work Hours: Tuesdays 8AM to 5 PM
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required, optional Sat 8AM to 2 PM available.

Trios scanning, Wellness scanning, Laser certifications are nice
