Job Description	Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling and polishing Take and interpret dental x-rays Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and oral health screenings Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques Assist dentists during procedures by preparing instruments and ensuring patient comfort Administer local anesthesia as directed by the dentist Maintain and update accurate patient records and dental charts Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement patient treatment plans Stay informed about advancements in dental technology and best practices
Salary Range	Part-time $50.00 - $60.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule	Monday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Valid Dental Hygiene license for Massachusetts Strong knowledge of dental anatomy, periodontal disease, and oral health conditions Proficiency with Dentrix dental software Excellent communication and patient education skills Ability to accurately take vital signs and document patient information Commitment to patient comfort and teamwork
Preferences	Experience with pediatric patients Knowledge of medical coding and dental insurance billing Previous dental assistant experience
