Dental hygienist (Part-Time) job at Newport Family Dental (Highland Dental Center)

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy, including pediatric care.
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history reviews.
Document patient information and treatment plans using dental software such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix.
Assist chairside during dental procedures to ensure seamless workflow.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and importance of routine dental visits.
Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques in full compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with dentists for treatment planning.
Operate medical imaging equipment safely and efficiently.
Accurately maintain electronic patient records and coding.

Monday through Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Valid Dental Hygienist license in the practicing state.
Strong knowledge of infection control procedures and HIPAA compliance.
Proficiency in dental software systems (Eaglesoft, Dentrix preferred).
Excellent patient communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.

Experience with pediatric dentistry.
Familiarity with medical coding and dental terminology.
Previous dental office or clinic experience.
