Dental hygienist (Part-Time) job at Jennifer K Risley DMD LLC

Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking dental x-rays, and applying fluoride treatments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for dental care
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and treatment plans
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean dental environment
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dental technology and techniques

Our current hours of patient care are Monday 10:30am-6:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8am-4pm and Friday 8am-1:30pm. Days of the week and hours worked per week as well as an hourly rate will be determined on an individual basis per the quality and experience of the candidate. Benefits are based on the average hours worked per week. The start date for the right candidate will be in October of 2025.

- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
- Preferred 1 year experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Strong understanding of dental anatomy and oral health
- Familiarity with dental office systems, including Dentrix, Dexis or similar electronic dental documentation systems
- Proficiency in taking dental x-rays
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene practices effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
