Title	Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
Job Description	Advanced Restorative Care: Assist the dentist during exams and independently complete high-quality restorations, including fillings and crowns. Patient Advocacy: Welcome patients, discuss treatment plans, and answer clinical inquiries to ensure total comfort and clarity. Clinical Support: Capture necessary X-rays, monitor vital signs, and accurately record medical/dental histories. Operatory Management: Prepare and turn over treatment rooms following strict OSHA and safety protocols; efficiently sterilize all instruments. Team Collaboration: Participate in daily 7:15 AM huddles to coordinate seamless patient care for the day.

Salary Range	【Full-time】 $24.00 〜 $28.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule	Full-Time (Monday – Thursday) Hours: Patient hours 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Lunch from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM). Perk: Enjoy a 3-day weekend—NO FRIDAYS!
Requirements	Certification: Must have a valid EFDA Certification and an active Indiana Radiography License. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as an EFDA is ideal. Technical Skills: Proficiency in coronal polishing, fluoride application, and digital data entry. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with a "patient-first" mentality. Compliance: Strong knowledge of dental sterilization and occupational safety regulations.
