（Part-time） Dental assistant job at Starry Dental

Chair-side Assistance: Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, preventative, and surgical services.

Patient Preparation: Prepare patients for treatment, ensuring they are comfortable and informed about the procedures being performed.

Sterilization & Safety: Clean and sterilize dental instruments and operatories in strict accordance with OSHA and infection control protocols.

Radiography: Safely and accurately take dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.

Clinical Records: Document patient treatments and findings accurately within the electronic health record system.

Lab Work: Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and creating dental models.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all dental equipment is functional, clean, and well-maintained for daily use.

Monday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Education: Completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program.

Certification: Current state-required dental assisting certifications and a valid Radiation Safety Certificate.

Life Safety: Active BLS/CPR certification.

Skills: Strong manual dexterity and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Professionalism: Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Competency: Ability to follow detailed clinical instructions and maintain strict patient confidentiality.

Experience: Prior clinical experience as a Dental Assistant in a private practice or community health setting.

Advanced Skills: Experience taking digital impressions or assisting with specialized dental procedures.

Software: Proficiency with dental practice management software.
