Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations within the clinic while providing exceptional patient care. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and interpersonal skills, as you will assist the dentist during various procedures and facilitate a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency.
Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Take and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information from patients.
Manage medical records accurately, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations.
Provide support in various dental specialties including general dentistry, pediatrics, prosthodontics, and more.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
Experience

Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome candidates eager to learn.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dental practices is beneficial.
Knowledge of infection control standards and aseptic techniques is essential.
Experience in pediatrics or prosthodontics is a plus but not required.
