Dental assistant (Full-Time) job at Albuquerque Advanced Dental Care

What You’ll Do:
• Prepare patients for dental procedures by ensuring comfort and explaining what to expect during their visit.
• Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments.
• Sterilize dental instruments and prepare treatment rooms before and after patient appointments.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist and ensure all images are of diagnostic quality.
•Update patient records with information about treatments performed, procedures scheduled, and any concerns raised by patients.
• Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and guidance on oral hygiene and preventive practices.
• Prepare and mix dental materials such as fillings, impressions, and bonding agents as needed for procedures.
• Manage appointment scheduling, patient communications, and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment, adhering to all infection control protocols

Work Hours:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Who We're Looking For:

•A Registered Dental Assistant with at least 2 years of hands-on experience
• Experience with Dentrix software is a plus but not required

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing top-notch care
• A team player who values collaboration and communication
• A positive, friendly attitude with excellent patient interaction skills
