（Full-time） Dental assistant job position at Denti Belli Dentistry

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Support:
Assist the dentist during procedures by handing instruments, operating suction devices, and ensuring the patient’s comfort.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary equipment.
Take and develop dental X-rays as directed by the dentist.
Mix dental materials, such as filling compounds or impression materials.
Provide post-operative instructions to patients under the dentist’s supervision.
Patient Interaction:
Welcome patients and prepare them for treatments or procedures.
Record and update patient medical and dental histories.
Educate patients on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive practices.
Administrative Duties:
Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
Manage patient records and ensure their confidentiality.
Handle billing, insurance claims, and payment processing.
Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Infection Control and Safety:
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control standards.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
Adhere to OSHA and HIPAA regulations to ensure patient and staff safety.
Skills and Qualifications:
Completion of a dental assisting program (preferred, but on-the-job training may be available).
Certification in radiology and infection control (varies by state).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
Manual dexterity and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with dental software and administrative systems is a plus.

Monday- Thursday 6:30am- 4pm. First patient at 7:00am. Last patient at 3pm.
