Job Summary: 

- The Addiction Treatment Nurse -- RN/LPN role is part of the Nursing team which supports ETS' mission by uplifting the humanity and dignity of each person and walk alongside them on their journey.
- This role makes a critical difference at ETS through providing safe and efficient dispensing of doses of methadone to clients. 
- The position is full time onsite, the location is a combination of time at the Seattle Clinic, South King County Clinic and  ETS Mobile Unit, and the hours are 5 AM -- 1:30 PM; some weekend shifts are required.
- The annual salary range for this position is as follows: RN: $85,280 to $91,520; and LPN: $79,040 to $85,280 plus $5,000 sign on bonus ** ETS strives to achieve pay equity and transparency as part of our goal to create an equitable workplace.

Sign on bonus is in addition to the base salary and will be paid out in increments (90 days, 180 days) with satisfactory performance. Please inquire with the Recruiter for more information. 

 

What you contribute to this role -- Responsibilities:  

Help ETS succeed in carrying out our mission through working together with other staff to transform systems of harm and inequity to create different approaches to improving community health and safety through addressing substance use and homelessness. 

Assist with the organization-wide initiative to reimagine our interconnectedness within our community to overcome the aspects of our society and organizational culture shaped by white supremacy and settler colonialism.

Prepares dispensing pump for dosing. 

Calibrates dispensing pump.

Dispense appropriate medication using the 6 medication rights: right patient, medication, dose, time, route, and documentation.

Properly manage, monitor, and document the medication inventories each shift.

Reconciles inventory of all medications at end of shift. 

Prints daily reports, signs, and properly files them.

Contact Medical Provider for any dose changes and properly documents in the EHR. 

Coordinates Guest dosing ensuring dose verifications are completed. 

Accurately records patient medical notes in the electronic health record.

Attend meetings as directed by Nursing Leadership.
