Description In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care in our Ambulatory Surgery Center. This position involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan for our patients, including providing detailed care instructions. An ability to work efficiently and effectively with others, providing compassionate and cutting edge patient care while also contributing to the positive and collaborative team environment at UCLA Health is a must. Incumbent may be required to travel between Community Ambulatory Surgery Center sites as needed based on staffing requirements. Salary: 87.47 Qualifications Graduate of and accredited school of nursing with a BSN or MSN degree, required Current and valid California RN license, required Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association Minimum 2 years of Circulator RN experience in a Hospital or Ambulatory operating room, required Minimum 1 year experience as a Surgical Scrub RN, preferred Minimum 1 year experience as surgical scrub, preferred Demonstrate knowledge in all areas of care specific to surgical service lines and continuum of perioperative care, including conscious sedation, required Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to interact effectively within an interdisciplinary team Demonstrated ability to direct nursing practice and prioritize problem solving Demonstrate consistent critical thinking skills Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to constructively engage in a fast-paced environment UCLA Health welcomes all individuals, without regard to race, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, national origin or disabilities, and we proudly look to each person’s unique achievements and experiences to further set us apart. |
