Description Marion County Health & Human Services is looking for a qualified
individual to work 50% within the Marion County Correctional Facility to
provide services to Adults in Custody (AIC) and 50% as a Brief Resource
Enhancement and Support (BRES) Clinician. While in the jail, this
position provides crisis counseling and resource/referral information
for AIC's. It requires a creative individual who can think outside the
box and work compassionately with AIC's as well as the jail staff to
provide the best possible outcomes for the individuals we serve. As a
BRES Clinician, this position will manage a caseload of individuals with
few to no financial support resources who are struggling to connect in
the community. The goal of the program is to divert from local emergency
rooms, inpatient hospitalization and jail while helping individuals
stabilize in the community. The individual in this position will be
responsible for creating and monitoring individualized service plans and
providing brief therapy. They will be responsible for managing a
caseload with a wide range of acuity. This position must be able to work
independently, problem solve and be proactive when engaging the
individual. Wages: Mental Health Therapist 1: $28.67 - $38.42 hr.
Mental Health Therapist 2: $34.78 - $46.60 hr. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING
REQUIREMENTS 1. Possession of a master's degree in psychology, Social
Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy or a behavioral
science field, or possession of a bachelor's degree in Nursing and
licensed by the State of Oregon, or possession of a bachelor's degree
in occupational therapy and licensed by the State of Oregon; OR second
year graduate students waivered as QMHP's by the Oregon Health
Authority. 2. Mental Health Therapist 2 Only: In addition to the
educational requirements above, the Mental Health Therapist 2 must have
at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the
behavioral health field. PREFERENCES Preference will be awarded to
candidates who are LCSW, CSWA or eligible for LCSW. Qualified candidates
will be eligible for licensure supervision if hired.
