Description Job Descriptions:

This position works independently and with other team members at the headquarters of Mountain Counseling & Training, Inc., including visits to the family’s home and a variety of community and/or treatment settings. This position directly supervises staff in multiple roles (including, as appropriate. Clinicians, Family Specialists, Parent Partners, and Facilitators) and works directly with children and adults. This position exclusively works with programs for the San Bernardino County Department of Behavioral Health.

Monitoring/consulting with clinical staff, including provision of clinical supervision to pre-licensed clinicians (if licensure status warrants)

Evaluating and training direct service staff

Overseeing general clinic operations in absence of Clinical Supervisor

Networking with community

Completing documentation (with state-of-the-art electronic health records systems)

Attending goal-focused, motivating meetings

Working with colleagues passionately committed to team-building, innovation, and focusing on strengths

Serving as liaison to county and school district(s) relative to DBH contracts

Providing therapy services

Demonstrating alertness to the presence of and opportunities for management of agency risk

Negotiating new and existing program-specific requirements

Other relevant duties as assigned

Displays regular and reliable attendance. Reports to and departs from work according to commitments with supervisor and recorded on online calendar

Successfully functions as clinical leadership team member

Co-chairs or chairs weekly group supervision meetings in absence of Clinical Supervisor

Co-chairs or chairs bi-weekly staff meetings in absence of Clinical Supervisor

Providing clinical leadership through the development of team member personal development plans as well as participating in the development of agency-wide quality-improvement and vision-setting activities in absence of Clinical Supervisor

Ensuring DBH program regulatory standards (e.g. HIPAA and county/state regulations) are adhered to within clinical teams

Facilitating the effective coordination of services with other agencies (primarily DBH)

Required Experience:

Basic to advanced computer skills

Medi-Cal Billing experience preferred

Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred, but not required

Licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the California Board of Behavioral Science

At least two (2) years of licensed therapist experience preferred
