We are looking for new team members to assemble eyeglasses at our Clackamas Oregon facility. FULL TRAINING PROVIDED! Once you're trained as a technician, you'll be fitting lenses into eyeglass frames to help people see the world. We work 2 shifts & can offer part-time with flexible hours dependent upon your needs & the needs of the business. We offer full benefits on day one when you're hired as a full-time employee. Optical experience great but not required. You are someone with good hand & eye coordination and take pride in producing an exceptional product that helps people. Applicants must be 18+ * Sit or stand for prolonged periods of time * Skills to perform repetitive movements with upper and lower extremities * Skills to sustain lengthy periods of visual concentration and good hand/eye coordination * Skills to work in a fast-paced, multi-task production environment * Skills to focus for long periods of time * Eye for attention to detail and symmetry Solid dexterity and mechanical skills Patience to fully see the task through is a must * Honest, dependable and be able to follow directions either written or verbal * Exceptional attendance record * Good verbal and written communication with ability to communicate with other associates in a clear, concise manner * Skills to read English and identify number recognition * Aptitude to follow safety guidelines with the ability to identify and understand safety items * Have a flexible schedule and be able to work overtime when needed * Skills to work in a team setting or independently, as needed Desire to learn Professional demeanor with a positive attitude and approach to work |
