Certified Nursing Assistant / C.N.A.

  • Santa Barbara, CA
  • Solutions NeuroRestorative facility located on North Patterson Avenue
  • Adult Residential Facility (ARF)
  • 3 Full Time positions open:
  • DAY shift, 8a-4p (Monday-Friday)
  • EVE shift, 4p-12a (Monday-Friday)
  • NOC shift; 12a-8a (Monday-Friday)
  • 3 Per Diem positions open:
  • DAY shift, 8a-4p (Saturday & Sunday)
  • EVE shift, 4p-12a (Saturday & Sunday)
  • NOC shift; 12a-8a (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Full benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, life insurance and more!) for fulltime positions
  • $18-$21 based on experience
  • $2/hour NOC shift differential for hours worked between 7pm-7am
  • On-demand pay via Dayforce Wallet

Would you like to make a difference every day in someone’s life? In this role you will carry out rewarding work and play a crucial role in the success of our organization.

  • Take basic vitals such as heart rate, temperature and blood pressure
  • Provide training, assistance and supervision to individuals receiving care in the areas of living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of assistance in both residential and community settings.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, shopping, cleaning, and medication administration.
  • Facilitate the working relationships between employers and individuals served, and support community involvement by accompanying them on outings, or providing transportation to work or other activities.
  • Work closely with our clinical staff to support the therapeutic and behavioral plans in place.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CA drivers License
  • Completion of CNA certification program; Current California CNA certification
  • Six months CNA experience preferred, ideally experience with medically complex patients
  • Current in CPR for Healthcare Provider
  • Ability to effectively communicate with staff, residents, and families
  • A reliable, responsible attitude and a compassionate approach
