Description Description
As a Clinical Laboratory Technician in our HLA Laboratory, you support our life saving mission by supporting organ donation and solid organ transplantation in the Pacific Northwest. The Clinical Laboratory Technician will perform high-complexity clinical testing and instrument management under minimal supervision in a CLIA laboratory. The position is designed as training for advancement opportunity to Clinical Laboratory Specialist.

- You will provide accurate and precise lab results for routine and stat testing in a timely manner, as well as demonstrate clear understanding of scientific principles in analysis.
- Follow and understand quality control procedures for equipment and reagent qualifications. Identifies unacceptable performance and notifies appropriate personnel.
- Performs duties as directed by laboratory procedures and in compliance with ASHI standards. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.

What you can expect:
Pay: $21.88 - $22.38 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, with call every 4 weeks which will include rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements
Knowledge/Education
Bachelor's degree in a chemical, physical, biological, medical technology or clinical laboratory science required.
CLIA requirements for high complexity testing required.
Licenses/ Certifications
State license, as required by regulations.
Skills/ Abilities:

- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be highly organized and detail oriented; accurate and timely.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Must possess good decision-making skills
- Must comprehend and apply clinical laboratory procedures and theory.
- Must maintain confidentiality
- Proficient computer skills to include input and retrieval of data
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift and bend.
