Description	Description Please note: This position requires experience in Epic medical records and fluency in Spanish Robert Half is seeking a bilingual individual fluent in Spanish and English to support a respected healthcare organization in Portland as a Patient Access Representative. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring effective communication and support for our Spanish-speaking patients throughout their healthcare journey. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities: Warmly greet and assist patients and visitors in both Spanish and English Collect and verify patient demographic and insurance information accurately and efficiently Schedule appointments and procedures while accommodating language preferences and provider availability Verify insurance coverage, obtain necessary authorizations, and assist with insurance-related inquiries Explain financial responsibilities to patients and assist with financial arrangements as needed, addressing language barriers sensitively Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations Collaborate effectively with clinical staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient experiences Assist patients with completing necessary forms and paperwork, providing language assistance as required Requirements Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal) is essential Experience with Epic electronic medical records Previous experience in healthcare administration, customer service, or related field preferred Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures preferred Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively in both languages Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Compassionate and patient-centered approach to customer service, with a commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
