Description Adecco Healthcare and Life Science is hiring Associate Patient Care Coordinators that reside in California . This role will be remote / work from home. Please see below and apply with an updated resume for consideration.

Type: Four-month contract with opportunity for extension or full-time offer

Hours: 8AM – 5PM Monday – Friday

Pay: $19.07 per hour

Specific Duties:

· Processing incoming referrals

· Making outbound calls to providers to gather info

· Prepping referrals

· Doing Benefit investigations

· Work together with corresponding coordinators to verify, check and review authorizations submitted by providers in and out of network.

· Comply with regulations associated with HIPAA to clarify member identification and obtain information pertaining to authorization criteria by calling providers for notes/clarification.

· Assist providers with updating and checking status of member authorizations through inbound calls; as well as review provider requests to contest Medical Director reviews.

· Additionally, coordinators will be responsible for entering hard copies faxed by providers and determining changes to authorizations by in house staff via our inbox, reviewed daily.

· Staff will need to be comfortable contacting providers, patients and staff members for authorization approvals, denials, and the like.

Education/Requirements:

· High School Diploma / GED

· Experience with Microsoft Office Products
