Description	Whatcom Occupational Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. We are a fast paced specialty practice with multiple departments and learning opportunities. We are privately owned and operated with over 30 years of service in Whatcom County. We are looking to add someone to our enthusiastic and driven team. Position: Part Time in Bellingham Required Skills • Knowledge in patient care and obtaining vitals • Charting and record management • Organize and multitask effectively • Competent with injections and blood draws • Computer and multi-line phone knowledge • Team work and interpersonal skills • Strong communication skills • Maintain HIPAA privacy • Certified Medical Assistant License We are looking for an energetic Medical Assistant who is willing to learn all aspects of our business and be a strong team player. Must be able to sit/stand for 8 hours. All of our staff is required to pass a urine drug screen, physical including 50lb lift test, as well as a background check before employment. We have a zero tolerance drug policy and do conduct random drug testing.
