We

are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to coordinate and

support the operation, monitoring, development, and administration of the

Medical School Affiliation Agreement between the County of Los Angeles and the

University.

Key

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Medical School Operating Agreement, currently valued at $33 million.
  • Oversee daily operations and perform financial reconciliations of expenditures. Prepare financial and analytical reports as requested and provide annual expenditure reports to the Davide Geffen School of Medicine Dean's Office-Fiscal Office.
  • Responsible for all employment management for over 280+ faculty members and 120+ Resident Physicians at Olive View-UCLA Medical Center.
  • Review and approve online transactions, including Transfer of Funds, Purchasing, Bruin Buy Plus, and SAP Concur.
  • Provide UCPath training to Academic Personnel Coordinators. Supervise a team of 4 career and 5 limited staff members.

Salary

offers are determined based on various factors including, but not limited to,

qualifications, experience, and equity. The full annual salary range for this

position is $68,800.00 - $141,000.00.

Qualifications

Required:

  • General understanding of the LAC/UCLA Medical School Operating Agreement
  • Working knowledge of the University's On-line FS system, TOF /PAN /UCPath/Travel Express/Cognos/QDB /Bruin Buy Plus/ NPEAR systems preferred.
  • Skill in computing ratios, rates & percentages to prepare financial reports.
  • Must be able to work outside of regular scheduled hours as needed.
  • Working knowledge of University Accounting, Travel, Purchasing, Academic and Staff Payroll and personnel Policies and procedures preferred.
  • Ability to interpret the Academic Personnel Manual, UCLA's Call.
  • Working knowledge of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, Payroll policies and procedures, and UC Benefits.
  • Ability to delegate assignments and provide training to support staff.
  • Ability to prepare and give presentations to groups.
  • Working knowledge of staff personnel policies.
