Job Description Provide hands on assessment care to patients during the admissions process Effectively communicate assessment findings with physician Knowledgeable and competently deliver quality nursing care to patients Evaluate patients’ needs assessment and initiate care plans upon patient admission and readmission Accurately receive, document, and transcribe physician orders Communicate orders to others timely to ensure timely receipt of medications and order implementation Chart appropriately and timely Exhibit excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards patients Assist with Med pass when needed Demonstrate dependable, regular attendance Concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgment Communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary team Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours Read, write, speak, and understand the English language Requirements Must have a current and active California LVN License Must be authorized to work in the United States Must have prior Admissions Nurse experience at a skilled nursing facility Must be willing to perform medpass when needed Must be comfortable with PCC Shift Full-Time Tuesday - Saturday 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm Benefits Why Work for Sunnyside Nursing & Post-Acute Care Top of the Market Wages: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour Paid orientation and training Opportunities for growth Paid sick leave/paid holidays Medical, dental, vision, and AFLAC 401K Loving and caring work environment We take great pride in meeting or exceeding CDC and CMS standards.
