HomeWell Care Services could be the right fit for you! Job duties for
this position include but are not limited to: ' Provide caregiving
services in accordance with an individual's plan of care which may
include: companionship, meal preparation and service, light
housekeeping, transportation, shopping, medication reminders, bathing,
body care, dressing, feeding, ambulation, positioning, transferring,
toileting, and protective supervision. ' Communicate effectively with
an individual's care team regarding safety or health concerns ' Follow
company Infection Control practices; notify the office if in need of
appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or supplies. ' Report
to work on-time and ready for the day; being sure to contact the office
regarding any anticipated tardiness or absence ' Complete ongoing
training as required by client care needs and/or changes in company
policies and procedures. ' Maintain accurate written and electronic
records of the care being provided ' Wear appropriate attire including
closed toe shoes and clothing that allows you to perform tasks
comfortably while maintaining a professional appearance. Schedule: Hours
for this position vary with client needs Flexible scheduling where
caregiver availability is matched with client schedules Weekend and
Weekday shifts available with hours typically ranging from 8am-10pm Part
Time available with the potential for full time hours 3hr-8hr shifts
Requirements: ' A driver's license is NOT required for this role '
Must be at least 18 years of age in accordance with Oregon law ' Job
requires writing medical care logs for English speaking/reading clients
as well as coordinating care and discussing scheduling over the phone
with an English-speaking administrative care team Physical demands of
the job include: Assisting with lifting an individual off of a bed,
toilet, wheelchair, or other furniture Being able to stand for extended
periods of time while cleaning or cooking Bending over and safely
lifting or clearing various clutter to reduce fall risks Assisting in
re-positioning individuals in a chair, wheelchair, or bed Employer
comments: We do provide mileage reimbursement in accordance with the
plan of care for the client.
