Description Looking for an experienced caregiver to provide in-home support for our children until the oldest child (now age 3) enters kindergarten.

Job Purpose:
Cares for children in the employer's household. Children are ages three and one, and care is needed Monday - Friday 9 am - 4:30 pm with occasional evenings not to exceed 40 hours per week.
Duties:
  • Prepares and serves meals to the children.
  •  Organizing creative activities and educational games.
  • Washing and folding the children's laundry.
  • Changing diapers and bathing infants. Potty training the children.
  • Accompanies and supervises children in community on walks, at the park, library, YMCA and outings. Transports children to and from appointments and events. A vehicle is provided by the employer for transporting the children.
  • Tidy the common areas, clean up toys, wipe down surfaces, sweep and mop floors to ensure a clean and healthy environment.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Skills/Qualifications:
On-the-job training will be provided.

Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform duties assigned.
The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Employee will be paid weekly on Fridays. Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law, and, if applicable, deduct the cost of lodging from the paycheck. Employer will reimburse the worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the worker (but not passport expenses or other charges primarily benefiting the worker).
Transportation - Grays Harbor Transit buses do not charge a fare. Employer will arrange and pay for the transportation and subsistence directly, advance at a minimum the most economical and reasonable common carrier cost of the transportation and subsistence to the worker before the worker's departure, or pay the worker for the reasonable costs incurred by the worker, consistent with 20 CFR 655.20(j)(1)(i).
Employer will pay the worker's cost of return transportation and daily subsistence consistent with 20 CFR 655.20(j)(1)(ii).
