Description Caregiver-Memory Care Type: Full-Time Shift: Various Wage: $17-19/hour DOE Location: Avamere at Yakima - 3710 Kern Road, Yakima, WA 98902 The primary purpose of this position is to provide support for each resident with routine daily health services. Responsibilities Care for residents and assist in updating each resident's service plan Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and eating Assist with the Life Enrichment Program and encourage residents to participate in activities Assist in providing a safe environment for residents Document and communicate resident changes and complete all reports in a timely manner Maintain confidentiality of all resident care in accordance with HIPAA guidelines Qualifications HCA or CNA license required Must be at least 18 years old High-School diploma or equivalent Must have or obtain (within 30-days of employment) First Aid & CPR Certification Must have or obtain a Food Handlers Card within 30 days of employment Knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination preferred, but not required Employee Perks Mentorship opportunities Career Development Tuition assistance Access up to 50% of your net earned income before payday Employee assistance program featuring counseling services, financial coaching, free legal services, and more Paid time off/sick leave (rolls over annually) 401K retirement plan with employer match Comprehensive benefits package with medical coverage, voluntary dental, vision, and life insurance, short-term disability, and AD&D coverage At Avamere Communities, we love to celebrate our diverse group of hardworking employees.
