Summary

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist (licensed in the state of Florida) to join our team at William T. Windham, DMD. In this role, you will play an essential part in promoting oral health by providing preventive dental care and patient education. Our practice utilizes an assisted hygiene model, allowing you to work efficiently while focusing on patient care and clinical excellence. You will work closely with the dentist and team to ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience for our patients while helping us maintain our commitment to providing excellent family-oriented dental care.

Responsibilities

Perform dental cleanings (prophylaxis)
Conduct oral health assessments and record patient medical histories
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
Screen patients for signs of periodontal disease and other oral health concerns
Remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth
Apply fluoride treatments and sealants as appropriate
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Document clinical findings and treatment provided in patient records
Assist the dentist with patient care and treatment planning
Maintain infection control and sterilization standards according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
Ensure treatment rooms are properly prepared and stocked

Work Hours: Tuesday - Friday 7:30am-5pm with lunch from 1-2pm.
No Weekends, No Overtime

Extended closure during winter holiday season and 1 week closure during summer holiday.
