（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at Shepherdsville Dental

A friendly, patient-focused, privately owned family dental practice is looking for a skilled and compassionate dental hygienist. We are located in Shepherdsville close to the I-65 exit. Our hours are 8-5 Monday through Thursday and some Fridays 8-2. Your established days and times can be flexible. Dental Hygienist duties revolve around conducting initial patient screenings, cleaning teeth (e.g. removing plaque) and advising patients on oral health and preventative care along with being a team player. We allow a hour per adult patient to help educate your patient's treatments for teeth and /or gum diseases. As a Dental Hygienist, you should be reliable and able to build trust with patients of all ages.

Skills

Licensed Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Ability to perform regular dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Willing to use state of the art equipment including the EMS Airflow Prophylaxis Master (We are happy to train you)
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)
Good communication skills and attention to detail

- Work Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 7 AM - 4 PM; Friday: 8 AM - 2PM. We are flexible and can work with your schedule
- Breaks: 60-minute meal break (not counted as work hours).
- Overtime: Overtime available during busy seasons and paid at 1.5x the regular hourly rate.
- Weekend Work: No weekend shifts required.
- Holiday Shifts: Occasional holiday shifts, compensated at double time.
