Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct thorough patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and evaluating oral health status.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations for optimal dental health.
Assist with dental procedures by preparing treatment areas, handing instruments, and ensuring patient comfort through chairside assistance.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and office protocols.
Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing dental instruments according to established standards.
Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for documentation review and data entry.
Collaborate with dentists to develop personalized treatment plans, including medical coding for billing purposes.
Monitor patient responses during procedures, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
Uphold the highest standards of infection control, safety, and confidentiality in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

- Work Hours: Monday- Thursday 7:45-5:00 and Friday 7:45-3:00

Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
Proven experience working in general dentistry or pediatric dentist
