（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Oraspace Dental Care

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality hygiene care, including routine cleanings, scaling and root planing, and periodontal maintenance
Assess periodontal health, chart findings, and identify early signs of gum disease
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment options
Identify potential Invisalign candidates during hygiene visits and educate patients on Invisalign benefits and treatment flow
Schedule Invisalign consultations with the doctor and support case acceptance in collaboration with the front desk and clinical team
Take dental X-rays and assist with soft tissue procedures
Review patient history and support the dentist with treatment planning insights
Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical and scheduling documentation
Communicate clearly with the doctor and dental team regarding patient care
Follow infection control protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment
Support the team during downtime with recalls, sterilization, and assisting as needed
Utilize intraoral scanning and periodontal adjuncts (laser experience a plus)

Active California Registered Dental Hygienist license

Certified in placing fluoride and dental sealants and taking X-rays
3–5 years of experience preferred
Excellent chairside manner with a warm, friendly personality
Strong communication and organizational skills
Team-player mentality with a positive attitude
Experience with intraoral scanning; laser and periodontal adjunct experience is a plus
