San Antonio Downtown Dentistry is looking for a friendly, responsible, and experienced Lead Dental Hygienist to join our tight-knit private practice. Our current hygienist is moving on to a government role, leaving a dedicated patient base in need of a long-term care provider.

Job Description	Comprehensive Care: Perform professional dental cleanings, including prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing (SRP). Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough oral health screenings, review medical histories, and perform periodontal charting. Diagnostic Support: Capture high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos to assist the dentist in diagnosis. Education: Provide personalized oral hygiene instruction and nutritional counseling to help our patients maintain their healthy smiles. Treatment Planning: Collaborate closely with the doctor to identify restorative needs and explain treatment options to patients. Sterilization & Compliance: Maintain a sterile environment, manage hygiene supplies, and ensure all OSHA and HIPAA protocols are followed.

Requirements	Licensed dental hygienist Valid Texas Dental Hygienist License. Proven experience in a clinical setting. A "patient-first" attitude with a focus on education and gentle care. Responsibility and reliability are a must, as you will lead the hygiene department.
