Clinical Care: Perform comprehensive cleanings, including meticulous scaling and polishing.

Diagnostics: Conduct patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and take/develop medical imaging to assist in treatment planning.

Patient Advocacy: Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive strategies; monitor patient comfort and address concerns during procedures.

Collaboration: Work alongside dentists to develop personalized treatment plans for both pediatric and adult patients; provide chairside support via four-handed dentistry.

Administration: Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) using Dentrix or Eaglesoft while ensuring 100% HIPAA compliance and accurate medical coding.

Safety: Strictly follow sterilization, disinfection, and aseptic protocols to uphold healthcare infection prevention standards.

Monday to Friday

Licensure: Valid New York State licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).

Experience: Proven clinical experience; a background in pediatric dentistry is highly preferred.

Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using dental EMR systems (Dentrix/Eaglesoft) and operating medical imaging equipment.

Soft Skills: Compassionate patient interaction, strong communication for health counseling, and the ability to remain organized in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge: Deep understanding of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and healthcare compliance.
