（Part-time） Dental hygienist job position at Shoreline Dental Chicago

Full- Time Dental Hygienist
Location: Chicago, IL 60611

Hourly Rate: $40 - $100 per hour

Preferences:

Open to both experienced professionals and new graduates eager to begin their careers in dental hygiene.

Shift and Schedule:

Monday-Thursday (4- 9 hour days), 2 Saturdays per month (Open to Tuesday- Friday: 4-9 hour days)

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform intraoral and extraoral dental examinations and oral cancer screenings.
• Provide dental prophylaxis and scaling and root planing procedures tailored to the patient's treatment needs.
• Create a positive and comfortable experience for all patients.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and overall dental health care.
• Take high-quality dental X-rays and utilize the iTero scanner to capture digital impressions.
• Accurately update and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare standards.


Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proficiency in dental X-rays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dedication to providing exceptional patient care and education.
