（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Main Street Dental

Responsibilities:

Perform dental prophylaxis, periodontal scaling and root planing, and other dental procedures as directed by the dentist.
Administer local anesthesia as necessary.
Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
Conduct thorough oral cancer screenings.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide instructions on how to maintain good oral health.
Record and update patient medical and dental histories.
Maintain sterilization and infection control procedures in accordance with OSHA and CDC guidelines.
Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist.

Associate's degree or higher in dental hygiene from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Active state dental hygiene license.
CPR certification.
