（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at St. Charles' Premier Dental Practice

Perform comprehensive oral health assessments, including periodontal charting, medical history review, and risk assessments

Provide preventive dental care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing as indicated

Take, process, and evaluate digital dental radiographs in accordance with clinical guidelines

Administer local anesthesia and/or nitrous oxide where permitted by state regulations

Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive strategies tailored to individual needs

Identify and communicate clinical findings to the dentist, including periodontal disease, caries risk, and oral pathology concerns

Apply preventive treatments, such as fluoride, sealants, and desensitizing agents

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in the patient record

Ensure compliance with infection control, OSHA, and HIPAA standards

Collaborate with the dentist and clinical team to support comprehensive treatment planning

Promote a positive, patient-centered experience and contribute to a welcoming clinical environment

Maintain operatory cleanliness, equipment care, and proper instrument sterilization

Work hours:
Monday 9-7
Tuesday 10-7
Wednesday 8-5
Thursday 8-6

Willingness to work Fridays and Saturdays is a plus!
Friday 8-2
Saturday 8-12
