（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Sunrise Dental

Responsibilities:

Completing dental prophylaxis by cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and from beneath gum margins.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Document dental hygiene services by recording vital signs and medical and dental histories; charting in patient records.
Detect disease by completing oral cancer screening; examining gums; using probes to locate periodontal disease and to assess levels of recession.

2-4 days per week with flexibility on days

Must have a valid Washington State Dental Hygiene License
CPR/First Aid Certification or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire (we will help with this if you don't have)

Experience working in a busy dental office with knowledge of dental hygiene procedures is preferred.
Prior dental hygienist experience is preferred but not required. We will help you get started if you need help.
You must be comfortable computerizing your work and have an understanding of how to use our system.
You must truly love people and be able to maintain good communication with patients, especially during difficult times like after an accident or during a flu or cold.
