In this role, you will be a vital clinical partner, working closely with the dentist to deliver optimal oral health outcomes. Patient Education: Counsel patients on oral hygiene practices, the importance of preventive care, and specific treatment objectives to improve long-term health. Diagnostic Imaging: Utilize medical imaging techniques to capture high-quality periapical and bitewing X-rays. Infection Control: Maintain strict adherence to healthcare infection prevention protocols, disinfection procedures, and aseptic techniques. Documentation: Manage detailed patient charting and clinical documentation within Dentrix, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborative Care: Work seamlessly with the dentist and clinical team to coordinate treatment plans and ensure patient safety.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $50.00 〜 $65.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Monday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Tuesday: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Thursday: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday & Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Dentrix Dexis Experienced Dental Hygienist (1+ years) Licensure: Current and valid California license as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH). Certifications: Current certification to administer local anesthesia. Software: Familiarity with Dentrix software for patient records and scheduling. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in periodontal maintenance and diagnostic dental imaging. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient interaction. Regulatory Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards. Experience Level: Open to all experience levels; entry-level candidates with strong clinical foundations are encouraged to apply.
Preferences	Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage patient records and clinical flow with high attention to detail. Education: Advanced background in health education and nutritional counseling as it relates to oral health.
