Clinical Excellence: Perform thorough prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing; apply preventive agents like fluorides and sealants.

Diagnostic Screening: Conduct oral health assessments, including screenings for gum disease and oral cancer.

Imaging & Anesthesia: Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays and administer local anesthesia (as permitted by Virginia law).

Patient Education: Provide personalized dietary counseling and demonstrate proper brushing and flossing techniques to empower patients.

Operatory Management: Prepare and sterilize instruments according to safety protocols and ensure treatment rooms are set up for efficiency.

Records & Compliance: Maintain accurate, confidential patient medical and dental histories in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Collaboration: Partner with the dentist to develop comprehensive treatment plans and manage a patient recall system.
