（Part-time） Dental hygienist job at Lexington Dental Associates

Comprehensive Prophylaxis: Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing, to remove plaque and tartar.

Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough oral health screenings, review medical and dental histories, and perform periodontal charting.

Radiography: Take and develop high-quality diagnostic X-rays to assist the doctor in treatment planning.

Preventive Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and post-operative care to promote long-term health.

Sterilization and Safety: Maintain a sterile work environment by strictly following all infection control and sterilization protocols.

Documentation: Ensure accurate and detailed patient records and clinical notes are maintained in our digital systems.

Days: Tuesday and Wednesday are preferred, though we are open to discussing alternative days to fit your schedule.

Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Licensure: Current and valid State of Connecticut licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).

Education: Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

Certification: Active CPR/BLS certification.

Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and compassionate patient-facing demeanor.

Experience Level: Open to all levels; new graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

Technical Skills: Familiarity with modern dental software and digital imaging systems.

Communication: Ability to explain complex clinical information in a way that is easy for patients to understand.
