Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive screenings by reviewing medical histories, taking vital signs, and performing periodontal evaluations. Health Education: Counsel patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and personalized treatment options to improve long-term outcomes. Advanced Imaging: Operate medical imaging equipment to take and interpret digital X-rays and CBCT scans while adhering to radiation safety protocols. Clinical Support: Assist the dentist during complex procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort. Sterilization & Safety: Maintain a sterile environment by following strict disinfection and sterilization procedures for all dental equipment and treatment rooms. Documentation: Manage patient records within electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring accurate charting and medical coding for billing purposes.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $62.00 〜 $65.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Monday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM Friday – Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Licensure: Active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Virginia. Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital radiography and dental software systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of dental terminology, anatomy, and healthcare infection prevention protocols. Compliance: Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and strict adherence to HIPAA regulations. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient interaction and comfort.
Preferences	Specialized Experience: Previous experience in a pediatric dentistry setting. Clinical Background: At least one year of experience in a fast-paced dental clinic. Advanced Billing: Familiarity with medical coding and documentation review for insurance processing.
