（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at Erie Family Health Centers - Waukegan

Preventive & Therapeutic Care: Provide preventive, therapeutic, and educational methods for the control of oral disease to help patients achieve optimum oral health.

Patient Records: Gather and assemble patient records, including medical and dental histories, X-rays, and chartings, to assist dentists with diagnosis and treatment.

Infection Control & Equipment: Maintain hygienist instruments, trays, and equipment in a clean and orderly manner, performing daily sterilization and adhering to infection control standards.

Health Education & Outreach: Serve as an oral health educator, performing in-reach and outreach activities to promote community wellness.

Collaboration & Compliance: Collaborate effectively with the dental team to meet high standards, including HIPAA and Joint Commission requirements.

Licensure: Active Dental Hygienist License and RDH certification (required).

Certification: Current CPR certification (required).

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, speak, write, and type.

One (1) year of prior experience as a Dental Hygienist is preferred.
