Adding a Registered Dental Hygienist to our growing team!

We are a busy group practice in Northeast Ohio, consisting of six general practitioners, 8 dental hygienists, and a team of specialists that are present on a weekly basis. This team includes a local oral surgeon, a periodontist, endodontists, and an orthodontist, all under the same roof. We have been a staple of the community for over 60 years, with fully digital radiography, dental records, and a fully equipped surgical suite for IV sedation and general anesthesia. Job Description	Primary Care Looking to join an elite dental practice in Ashtabula County? We are expanding, growing, and looking to add a Registered Dental Hygienist to our amazing team! Overview The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform thorough dental cleanings, and support the overall health and well-being of our patients. This role offers an opportunity to work in a modern clinical environment utilizing advanced dental technology and EMR systems. The Registered Dental Hygienist will collaborate closely with dentists and dental assistants to deliver comprehensive oral health services, ensuring compliance with all health regulations including HIPAA and infection control protocols. Responsibilities Perform professional dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and oral examinations Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies Assist with dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and patient comfort Take and develop dental radiographs (medical imaging) as needed, ensuring proper aseptic technique Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix Review documentation for accuracy and completeness, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations Monitor patient comfort throughout procedures and provide chairside assisting during various treatments Follow infection control protocols to maintain a sterile environment in accordance with OSHA standards

Salary Details	Our hygiene team is some of the best that Northeast Ohio has to offer! As our practice continues to grow we are in need of adding to our team! Our hygiene team is compensated on production, which often leads to up to 30% MORE than the national hourly average for hygienists! Our schedules are FULL!

Shift & Schedule	Day shift Work hours are variable with some flexibility. We are open Monday - Friday. Our hygiene team works one late evening (Tuesday or Thursday) and 4 day weeks. We do ask for a minimum of 3 full days per week due to volume of our practice. Mon- 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Tues- 8:00 am - 6:30 pm Wed- 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Thur- 8:00 am - 6:30 pm Fri- 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Requirements	Must pass a criminal background check
Preferences	Licensed dental hygienist Eaglesoft
