Preventive Care Delivery: Perform comprehensive dental hygiene services, including patient assessment, dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.

Patient Education: Educate patients on optimal oral hygiene techniques, preventative care, and the importance of long-term dental health.

Diagnostics and Charting: Take necessary diagnostic records, including dental X-rays, and accurately maintain patient charting and clinical records.

Software Management: Efficiently utilize dental practice management software (Dentrix) for scheduling, treatment planning collaboration, and record-keeping.

Compliance: Adhere strictly to all state licensing requirements, safety regulations, and infection control protocols.

Team Collaboration: Work effectively with the doctor and the administrative team to ensure smooth patient flow and overall practice efficiency.

Benefits (Available): While the two-day schedule does not typically carry a full benefits package, the employer is open to offering IRA participation, paid vacation days, and paid sick days offered to existing staff.

Work Structure: This is a consistent position requiring two days per week.

Operating Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (specific days to be agreed upon).

Office Hours:

Monday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Weekends: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.

Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Software Proficiency: Must be proficient in Dentrix dental practice management software.

Clinical Skills: Demonstrated expertise in providing thorough hygiene services.

Dependability: Highly reliable and capable of independent work within the clinical environment.

Language: Ability to communicate fluently in Spanish is considered a significant asset.
