（Full-time） Dental hygienist job at Harlow Dental at 7th Street

Clinical Care Delivery: Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy (e.g., Scaling and Root Planing (SRP)).

Patient Scheduling Protocol: Adhere to established appointment times to ensure quality care, including 90 minutes for new patient exams and prophies, 90 minutes for two-quadrant SRP, and 60 minutes for recare appointments and perio maintenance.

Patient Education: Educate patients on maintaining optimal oral hygiene, managing periodontal health, and the importance of continued care.

Collaboration: Maintain a strong, cooperative working relationship with the five existing full-time hygienists, the doctor, and the rest of the 21-member team.

Independent Practice: Manage an individual, single hygienist column efficiently.

Documentation: Maintain accurate patient charting and records.

Core Schedule: Monday through Thursday.

Hours: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.

Optional Hours: Half-day Friday work (9:00 AM – 2:00 PM) may be available at our other location (Steele Creek) if desired.

No Weekends: Saturday and Sunday off.

Licensure: Active and unrestricted North Carolina Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Work Ethic: Demonstrated strong, positive, and collaborative team work ethic.

Clinical Skill: Proficiency in performing periodontal procedures, including Root Planing.

Prior experience utilizing dedicated appointment scheduling protocols for maximum patient care time.
