（Full-time） Dental hygienist job position at WEST MORRIS DENTAL

Clinical Assessment & Treatment: Conduct thorough patient assessments to evaluate oral health, identify issues, and perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar.

Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and emphasize the importance of regular dental visits and preventative care.

Documentation: Accurately document all patient care, findings, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) systems (Patient charting).

Team Support: Assist with dental procedures as needed, providing support to the dentist during treatments to ensure seamless care delivery.

Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.

Professional Development: Stay current with dental terminology, relevant medical coding, and best practices in the field.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Thursday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Friday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Weekends: Saturdays and Sundays off.

Licensure: Active and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license.

Clinical Skills: Proven ability to conduct thorough patient assessments and perform dental cleanings effectively.

Compliance: Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and knowledge of infection control standards and OSHA compliance.

Interpersonal Skills: Strong patient care skills with a focus on creating a comfortable environment for patients.
