Title	Dental hygienist
Job Description	Preventive and Therapeutic Care: Perform thorough dental cleanings, administer periodontal therapy, and deliver preventive treatments. Clinical Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including accurate periodontal charting, and evaluate overall oral health status. Radiology and Imaging: Take, process, and accurately evaluate dental radiographs and intraoral images. Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, preventative care practices, and the connection between oral health and overall wellness. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the dentist and the entire clinical team to develop and execute comprehensive patient care plans. Safety and Records: Maintain accurate and detailed clinical records and strictly ensure adherence to all infection control and sterilization protocols.
Salary Range	【Full-time】 $45.00 〜 $55.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Benefits	Benefits Package Includes: Paid Time Off (PTO), Medical Insurance, Dental Benefits, 401(k) Plan (with matching), Continuing Education opportunities, and a Shoe/Scrub Allowance.
Shift & Schedule	Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Typical day shifts). One Friday per month: 7:30 AM – 1:30 PM (Shorter morning shift).
Requirements	Licensed dental hygienist Licensure: Current, active, and unrestricted Maine Dental Hygiene License. Skills: Strong clinical proficiency, excellent communication, and superior interpersonal skills. Attitude: A positive, team-oriented attitude and demonstrated commitment to exceptional patient comfort and care.
Preferences	Certification in the administration of Local Anesthesia. Experience with managing patient records and utilizing health education and counseling techniques.
