Title	Dental hygienist
Job Description	Perform thorough dental hygiene procedures, including prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and the removal of plaque and calculus. Administer topical fluoride and other preventive treatments as prescribed. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking and updating medical histories, charting existing conditions, and performing oral health screenings. Acquire, process, and interpret diagnostic dental images (X-rays) accurately and safely. Provide detailed health education and counseling to patients on proper brushing, flossing, and nutrition for preventive oral health. Assist with the development and presentation of patient treatment plans. Maintain meticulous, up-to-date patient records and charting. Strictly adhere to all OSHA, CDC, and infection prevention and control protocols, including instrument sterilization. Ensure full compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality. Promote a culture of patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures.
Salary Range	【Part-time】 $40.00 〜 $45.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule	Monday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Friday: Closed Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed
Requirements	Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Ohio. Demonstrated expertise in direct patient care and diagnostic evaluation. Proven ability to perform all aspects of dental prophylaxis and preventive health procedures. Expert knowledge of dental sterilization procedures and healthcare infection prevention and control. Familiarity with operating medical imaging equipment for image acquisition. Thorough understanding and proven compliance with HIPAA guidelines. Strong communication and patient interaction skills. Must be willing to relocate to or near Ada, OH 45810 before starting work.
Preferences	Previous experience in a family dentistry setting. Experience with advanced periodontal treatment planning. Proficiency with modern dental practice management software for patient charting and record management. Commitment to continuous professional development and training.
