Job Description	Preventive Care: Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, including cleaning teeth, scaling, and polishing. Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Education & Counseling: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, individualized treatment plans, and effective preventive care strategies. Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and review documentation for accuracy and completeness using Dentrix software, ensuring strict HIPAA compliance. Infection Control: Diligently adhere to infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization of instruments. Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure efficient clinic operations and deliver seamless, high-quality patient care. Imaging: Utilize medical imaging equipment effectively for diagnostic purposes.
Salary Range	【Full-time】 $40.00 〜 $45.00 /hour
Salary Details	- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.

Shift & Schedule	Monday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM Friday: Closed
Requirements	Licensure: Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with New York state regulations. Infection Control: Strong knowledge of and strict adherence to infection control standards and aseptic techniques. Technical: Ability to utilize medical imaging equipment effectively. Patient Care: Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately. Documentation: Proficiency in accurate record keeping and knowledge of HIPAA compliance.
Preferences	Experience with the Dentrix dental software system. Previous experience in a high-volume general dentistry practice.
