Job Description	Primary Care Perform complete dental prophylaxis, including scaling and cleaning deposits and stains from teeth and beneath gum margins. Conduct thorough patient assessment, including oral cancer screenings, visual examination of gums, and using probes to detect and assess periodontal disease. Expose and develop necessary radiographic studies (x-rays) and other medical imaging. Provide comprehensive health education and counseling, including oral hygiene instructions, plaque control, and post-operative care. Document dental hygiene services by accurately recording vital signs, medical and dental histories, and charting in patient records. Prepare the treatment room and patient by adhering to prescribed procedures and protocols, ensuring patient comfort (welcoming, seating, draping). Maintain a sterile and clean working environment by adhering to infection prevention and control policies and performing dental sterilization procedures. Ensure the proper operation of dental equipment by conducting preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and managing equipment and supply inventories. Assist the dentist in managing dental and patient emergencies by maintaining current CPR Certification and knowledge of emergency protocols.

Shift & Schedule	5x8 Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM Mondays and Sundays are non-working days.
Requirements	Cardiopulmonary resuscitation Basic life support Driver’s license Dentrix License: Current and active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License in the state of Nevada. Certification: Current CPR Certification or Basic Life Support (BLS). Compliance: Ability to adhere strictly to all infection-control policies, safety regulations, and HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality. Clinical Skills: Proficiency in dental prophylaxis, patient assessment, operating medical imaging equipment, and performing fluoride treatment. Attributes: Strong communication skills for patient interaction and education, and a commitment to patient safety. Health: Must possess required health clearance documentation.
Preferences	Prior work experience in a dental setting. Experience with instrument sharpening and maintenance. Familiarity with inventory management for dental equipment and supplies. Experience performing chairside assisting duties.
