Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, including prophylaxis (prophy), scaling and root planing (SRP), and routine maintenance care.

Perform thorough periodontal charting and detailed patient assessments.

Capture, evaluate, and chart digital radiographs (e.g., bitewing, extraoral) and intraoral photos.

Deliver engaging patient education and counseling on preventive care, oral hygiene techniques, and overall health connections.

Collaborate with the Dentist on accurate patient diagnosis and the development of effective treatment plans.

Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and infection prevention and control protocols.

Ensure accurate and timely patient charting and record keeping.

Current and active Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Illinois.

Current CPR Certification.

Proven ability to perform direct patient care, including dental prophylaxis and root planing.

Proficiency in taking and evaluating dental x-rays and operating medical imaging equipment.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills and patient interaction abilities.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork mentality.

Experience assisting with healthcare diagnosis and complex treatment planning.

Familiarity with digital patient charting systems.

Experience in a mid-level healthcare setting.

Expertise in health education and patient counseling techniques.
