Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and scaling procedures to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth. This includes periodontal maintenance (recall) and scaling and root planing with local anesthesia.
Conduct patient assessments, including reviewing medical history and taking vital signs, and periodontal charting.
Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and dentinal hypersensitivity treatments.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain infection control protocols in accordance with industry standards and regulations.
Document patient care accurately in Dentrix or other dental software systems.
Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the dental clinic environment.
